Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe it has only been a little over the year since I started this drive last June. So much has happened and if you've been following along, you know that to be true. I am grateful to be heading out again.
The road is something I like. I look forward to seeing some friends along the way and showing Q the country. Hopefully Liam will stay awake for more of it this time.
It'll be bittersweet to bypass Cleveland, but the fond memories of my last two stops there will stay with me for a long time and I'll make my way there again. We are hitting some areas I haven't seen before on Monday, so that will be great. All of it will be new to Q so I get to live a little vicariously through him.
Today is scenic for the majority of the ride but not a lot of cool places to stop. That's okay, though. We will stretch out our legs enough to see something good, I'm sure. I like a lot of the road between here and Albuquerque.
The last day of school was a good one yesterday. I was sad to say goodbye to a few of my kids. It was also fun, though, to get my room ready for new carpet. I can't wait to put it together in early August. I also had a good chat with my principal and we talked about some cool stuff coming down the pike.
All in all, I'm ready to roll.

Regrettably, I did not buy this recording. Well, the part about not buying it was true.
